Week 3 (Sea Green)

EDIT: I totally missed this, but this was post #100.  Hooray.  Confetti.  etc.  Moving on....

Yes I said there would possible be other photos.  Possibly.

They still will come.  They will.  Maybe if I have time.  Maybe.

Also, technically Alexandra's picture is cheating (i.e. taking a picture of the crayon) but as it's for ironic purposes....it's fine.  We're pretty lax...normally.

Week 1 (Peach)

Yes yes I'm late with this hush you.  Flight delays.  It's a valid excuse.  So hush.

Week 1 was peach.  If you didn't know that, you're either new within a week or haven't been paying attention.  Either works so long as you are now. :P

The pictures!  With the addition of my mother.  Knowing how busy she is and how less busy I am and my remarkable ability to fall behind, I'm interested to see if she can keep up for the full year.  Won't be surprised either way.  And I know she'll see this...hi Mother!

Where was I?

Oh right.  Pictures.

Wait, hold everything.  Before I forget, Uncle Dan, the one who did the sketches last year, is also continuing, this time with pen and ink drawings.  He also was kind enough to supply a cover photo.

Let's do this.

Mother

More sand

I've said it before.  I will likely say it again.  But I really love my macro lens.

Yes, this is really fine sand.  I know it doesn't look like it.  But it is.  Plus, now you can see why it's pink here.

The End of Another Year

...well this is late.  Sorry about that.

Another year has come and gone.  Meaning another 52 pictures from each of our participants in this past year's PoTW project.  As I fell SO far behind in uploading them to the blog, I've realized to put them all here on the front page would be very cluttered.  So they've all been put in the "Weekly Pictures 2011" tab at the top of post section.  They're all there.  Every single one.  I hope.  If there's a mistake, tell me.

But now, a few things.

First off, yes, this is continuing (again) into 2012.  One resolution of mine is to keep up with this blog.  But who knows?  This time, however, to shake things up, we're hunting specific colours each week, as specified by pulling a crayon out of a box (yes, pretty much what the folks over at Project 64 are doing).  I'm not quite certain yet what the formatting will be for my putting pictures up here, but we shall see.

Second, I do hope to keep putting up extra posts and pictures.  When I get back to Montreal I should be out there for snow a wee bit more frequently.  My main photography times last year were the weekends, but Saturdays were used for catching up on sleep and on Sundays by the time the football games ended it was dark.  After February there won't be football to distract me.  So pictures!  I hope...

To wrap things up here, here are the pictures from the final week of 2011.
